FAQ

You’ll be able to find and reserve a bike using the Uber app.

You can ride JUMP bikes anywhere within the service zone indicated on the map above, which is also available in the app. When you’re finished riding, leave your bike parked within the same zone. Bikes parked outside of the zone are subject to additional fees.

Park your bike out of the way of pedestrians and other vehicles and make sure you follow the detailed parking guidelines below. Parking a vehicle outside of the area may result in a penalty. All bikes are equipped with a lock. At the end of each trip you will need to lock the bike. Lock the bike to a bike rack. If there is no bike rack available nearby, you can lock the bike to appropriate urban furniture. In any case, avoid obstructing the public way and impeding pedestrians’ passing.

Jump has purchased insurance covering your civil liability for damages that you may cause to third parties and their property arising out of an accident whilst using a Jump Bike.

Jump Bike cover is subject to a limit of liability of €1,000,000 per accident.

In the event that you have been involved in an accident, you should first ensure your own safety and those around you and then contact the emergency service if needed.

We also ask that you report any accidents to Uber either through the in-app help section. To get help, please select "Help", "Safety and security" and then tap on the article with the title "I was involved in an accident" and enter the details. A member of our support team will call you back as soon as possible. In case you don't have an Uber account, please get in contact through email at support-be@jump.com.

If the accident involves any third party injury or damage, we ask that you exchange contact details with the third party and request that they report this to Uber through the following email address (support-be@jump.com) and specify the contact number they wish to be called back on.

What should I do if a third party involved in an accident demands or mentions compensation?

If any third party involved in the accident demands or mentions compensation from you, whether in writing or otherwise, you must notify XL Insurance Company SE’s claims representative using the following contact details:

Broadspire will confirm any actions you may need to take. Please note that is very important that you do not admit liability, enter into any negotiations, or agree to pay or settle any third party demands for compensation.
